Shipyard Marine
Note of Appreciation
Barb and I just wanted to say that you have a Great crew there and they all made things work and the launch a fun event. Scott has gone out of his way to make everything work and taking care of us. Tim also was very helpful throughout the process and Jason did a great job of teaching us about the boat on the sea trial. Anyway just wanted to let you know we really appreciate what your team did for us this past year! Also that we really like the boat!

Boating in the middle of winter
We would like to thank you and Shipyard Marine for the great service and for getting our boat ready to go to Florida in the middle of winter.  We are so pleased it was delivered on time and everything on the boat was first class.  Great job!  We would recommend you over any other boating dealer we've bought from over our many years of boating.

Sincerely,

The Ehlinger Boating Adventure
In January, 2009, we started our new boating adventure traveling back and forth from Wisconsin to Florida.  The first part of our trip was driving the Formula 34 PC and trailer to Fort Myers, Florida.  We loved the performance of our new boat.  Our D4 Diesel Volvo engines with Volvo props and electric shifting are fabulous.  On the way to the Keys, the gauges at 35'36 miles per hour burned 5.1 gallons per hour per engine.  Excellent!  The power, quietness and smoothness of the diesels over the 496 is just unbelievable.  NO comparison to gas.  We had no diesel small and quality of our entire boat was first class.

We took a trip to Key West, Marathon and back to Marco Island and it was more than we expected from our new Formula.  We had a great time and lived comfortably aboard our new Formula for two weeks.  The bed was very comfortable.  We are looking forward to future trips and new adventures.

This Spring we will be hauling the Formula and trailer back to Wisconsin to experience the Great Lakes and new travels and friends.

We would recommend Tim Hogan, Shipyard Marine and Formula Boats for YOUR new Formula boat.

This is my "dream" boat!
I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your help with my recent purchase of the 1999 38 Scarab.  This is my "dream" boat and was a huge purchase for me.  Your time, patience and knowledge of the boat was greatly appreciated.

The entire staff did a wonderful job!
I bought my boat in March of 2008 from Shipyard Marine.  The entire sales staff and service crew did a wonderful job this summer keeping me on the water!  I have recently had them winterize the 400SS and store it indoors.  Thanks everyone!

Ski Team Thanks You!!
On behalf of the St Norbert Waterski Team, Jay writes to thank Shipyard Marine for the support we provided them this last ski season.   Shipyard Marine provided them with a ski boat along with some boats to showcase at the Tommy Bartlett Tournament.  They look forward to working with us in the future.

Very Impressed!!
I was very impressed with the professionalism of Shipyard Marine and their entire staff.  They found the boat I was looking for that actually exceeded my expectations.  When I took delivery it was all detailed out, and serviced for operation.  Tim Hogan, the salesman and his staff explained all operating features and manual references.  We took a shake down cruise to familiarize me with the 400SS.  During the summer months when I needed warranty service or routine maintenance it was always completed in a working weeks time!  The quality of the Formula Boat and Shipyard Marine has been a pleasant experience.

Great Job!
Mike Persten has nothing but good to say about Shipyard Marine.  "It was the best boat buying experience I've ever had, and I've bought many boats over the years.  Shipyard Service is prompt and courteous."

Behind The Scenes
Just wanted to drop a note to thank Andy and Tim for arranging the tour at Formula for my family and I.  It was very impressive to see how the boats are made from research and development to the finished product, you don't realize all the effort that goes into it until you've seen it first hand.  Our tour guide was Daryl Anderson and he was very informative and did a great job at answering all of our questions.  It was definitely a great stop on our vacation.  Thanks to both of you and everyone at Shipyard Marine for all you do for us and people like us, who enjoy owning a Formula Boat.
Thanks again,

Thanks for the Effort
I just wanted to write and say thanks for your effort on getting this deal together and keeping me with Shipyard.  I like to give you guys a hard time but I do recognize the work you put into it.  Andy--thank you, as well.  Now I am going to soak up some rays and a Bloody Mary.

SYM - A Class Act
Professionalism, honesty and a genuine passion for boaters. That's what Shipyard Marine is all about. I have worked with Andy and the Shipyard team for almost 15 years in a multitude of activities, from personal boating needs to large boating events. Shipyard has always treated me, and everyone that I have referred to them, with a positive "can do" attitude. Andy has always been quick to sponsor local non-profit activities with proceeds going to Children's Hospital, animal shelters, lake and channel markers in the Fox Valley, and the Sheriff Department's boats.  Shipyard is a class act!

Awesome Shipyard Staff
Just wanted to let you know we think your crew at Shipyard Marine is awesome!  Everyone is so very friendly and helpful, and we appreciate their great care in handling our boat.  We are very impressed with the repair work to the hull and with the transport of our boat to its storage in Sturgeon Bay.  The boys did a super job setting the boat on its dollies.  We also appreciate all the modifications done to the camper top to help make it leak free.  I know it was an arduous project!  A huge thank you to Ron, Jason, Brandon, Heath and the rest of your staff for all their hard work and expertise in making the Souvenir the beautiful vessel that she is.
Sincerely,
Glenn and Marybeth Deedon

Thanks for the Prompt Service
I would like to take a moment to thank Andrew Verwey from the Service and Parts Department in Oshkosh for his prompt and professional service.  Twice this summer I needed immediate repairs to our patrol boats, and Andrew was able to provide help within a day or two.  Our boats are expected to be available 24/7 for search and rescue and having to take them out of service for an extended period of time presents a host of problems and is a disservice to the public.

Thanks again Andrew,
Lt. Paul Schreiber

A "Volunteer" Thanks
It has been brought to my attention the generous and invaluable assistance that you provided on March 3, 2007, when you volunteered heavy lifting straps, when a tractor operator and his front-end loader were trapped under an avalanche of crushed limestone. Use of your equipment was welcomed and very beneficial. It is certainly a pleasure to be a police officer in a community in which people are willing to aid us in a job in which we all have a valuable stake. It is dedicated citizens/businessmen like you that make this a real community and not just a place to live. On behalf of all of the members of the Green Bay Police Department, I would like to thank you for your willingness to become involved in this very critical incident.

Love their Formulas!
Bob and Debbie Korzenski purchased their first boat in the fall of 2005. They showed the brochure and talked about the boat to Bob and Mary Wiedenhaft. The Wiedenhafts had a 35 foot Fountain that they loved, so when they told us they were thinking of buying a Super Sport, we were very surprised. (My husdand) Jim and I had a 34-foot Powerquest that we liked and Jim had been looking at a 38-foot Powerquest that Shipyard Marine had for sale. One day in the winter of 2006, Jim suggested that we go to Shipyard - the 330 Sun Sport was there and we could look at it. I thought we were looking at it because our friends had bought one. We looked over the boat, then Jim asked me what I thought, and should we buy it? He always gets his way when it comes to boat buying, so of course we ordered one. We have really enjoyed the boat - there is so much room on it for entertaining, the storage is great, and the berth is comfortable for overnights.

It's a Pleasure to do Business with SYM
It was a refreshing experience when we put together our deal on our 3700 Maxum with Shipyard Marine in Suamico, WI (Green Bay). They took our RV and our Sea Ray 260 in on trade (picked both of 'em up in South Dakota). Everything we asked to be done, every finance issue, every promise made, even delivery and a few issues after delivery, were taken care of quickly and professionally. I had so much documentation and kept running logs just to be sure that I would not have to go through (i.e. get screwed again) what I did in the past with a few other dealers. It turned out to be much work for nothing as they quickly exceeded our expectations. The guys' (Andy, Tim, Heath & Crew) integrity, real concern for making things right, and shooting straight from the start is uncommon in the industry! It was a pleasure to do business with Shipyard Marine.

Thanks for the Party, SYM
Thank you, Andy, for taking the time on your busy party day to meet with us for signing papers and taking over our trade-in. Thank you also for the party and the hotel room. The party was so fun and it was great to be able to see all the boats. It is very exciting to be part of your Formula family. In today's world, customer service and appreciation seems forgotten, but not by you and your Shipyard Marine staff!

Greg's Dream is Fulfilled
Shipyard could have fulfilled my objective of owning a boat, instead I found that Shipyard Marine has helped me to fulfill my dream of owning a boat. I know that the whole Shipyard Marine organization stands behind Andy, and I am confident that my ownership of a Formula boat will result in loyalty developed by you and your staff.

Vacationing in our Formula 330SS
I want to express thanks to Formula Boats, Andy Howitt and Shipyard Marine for building a great product and providing service/support for that product. We have owned 3 Formulas over 8 years and made the decision to purchase our 4th Formula, a 330SS, in July of 2005.  One of the factors in our decision to purchase was the commitment by Shipyard Marine and Formula to meet our delivery date request of July 26th.  We had a week long boating vacation planned to start on the 29th.  The boat arrived on July 27th in the late afternoon.  Andy and his Shipyard Marine crew immediately began to prepare the boat for delivery.  By 2:00 p.m. the next day, the boat was prepped and checked over, and we officially took delivery. By 6:00 p.m. we were packed up and headed out of the marina on the first leg of our 500 mile trip.  First stop was Sturgeon Bay, 45 miles to the north.  Upon arrival in Sturgeon Bay, we found that we couldn't utilize the front isinglass portion of the enclosure as two front connecting strips were missing.  I called Andy Howitt at home at 8:30 p.m. Together we decided to utilize connecting strips from another 330SS in Shipyard's inventory. Without hesitation, Andy's plan was to have a Shipyard technician drive the canvas to Sturgeon Bay on Saturday morning. By 9:00 a.m., Aaron, a service technician, arrived with the canvas. By 10:00 a.m. we were off to cross Lake Michigan on the second leg of our trip. Andy and his team continued to shine as they took care of minor issues and cosmetic repairs immediately upon the return of our trip. Today, after 6 weeks of ownership, 1,100 miles and 52 engine hours, we are still very satisfied with our purchase decision.  Again, Thank You!
Sincerely,
Bob, Kim, and Katie Kissel

First Rate Facilities and Service
Wanted to say "THANK YOU" for the hospitality of Shipyard Marine. You should be proud of the facilities, investments, and team you have put together up there. It is a commitment to the marine industry that you should be proud of. The way you operate your dry dock system is first rate. Customers should be happy with the level of service they receive.

Holiday Rescue
It was the Thursday before the 4th of July weekend. I was cruising along and my Formula just stops like someone put on the brakes. When I saw oil floating on the water behind the boat, I knew that I had a serious problem. I got towed in and loaded the boat and then spotted the hole in the side of my lower unit. I figured I'd be without my boat for at least two to three weeks while it was repaired. But, thanks to Andy and the men in the service department, they found another lower unit and let me use it until mine was repaired. My boat was up and running the next day. That kind of service is hard to find, and I just wanted to sincerely offer a great big thanks to all of you.
Sincerely,

Glenn and Marybeth Thank the SYM Staff
We want you to know how much we appreciated your staff's cheerful help in purchasing our new boat and planning out placement of the instruments on the dash. They have been very helpful in finding answers to our questions and, I must say, very patient and good natured. We appreciate and depend on the good advice and expertise. Tim, Heath, Ron, Amy - all did their best. A big thank you to them!

Shipyard Marine Rescue Mission
I just wanted to say thank you, again, for your efforts in getting us out of the compromising situation we were in on Sunday. We were coming in for the evening, taking our time and trying to make sure we were where we were supposed to be. We thought we were tracing the path we took to get out--obviously we were wrong. Jerry is not a risk taker when it comes to the boat, so it was tough on him because he was being so careful. Anyway, it happened. What really baffled me was the unwillingness of anyone to help get us out. The responses we got from the Coast Guard and DNR was to leave the boat. I was not willing to abandon ship! Realizing it was going to be nightfall soon, I did succumb when the Coast Guard called us and said we would have to wait until Tuesday to be towed. I can't tell you how thrilled I was when the DNR came and told us you and your team were willing to try and pull us out.

It was a holiday weekend and I'm sure you would have preferred to be spending the time with your family. The fact that you gave up your personal time and came to try and help us tells me that not only are you a wonderful businessman, but also a really good person. In today's world, you don't find that very often.

I hope there were no further "rescue" missions and you were able to enjoy the rest of the weekend. We did enjoy the time out - it's really very pretty out there - something we're not accustomed to in Northwest Indiana! Needless to say, with all the excitement we had in Green Bay, I do look forward to seeing the boat in Racine!
Regards,
Mindy Miklusak

Exceptional Service!
Thanks again to Andrew for making the jet-ski deal happen.  Sorry we missed each other last night, but the team was impressive at getting me going.  At least 4 people, including the owner, were involved in moving the jet-ski onto my trailer while I completed paperwork with Sherri.  The trailer needed several adjustments, which the team took care of.  I had brought ratchet straps, but didn't know how to use them.  One of the guys showed me how to use them, and the guys came up with a good means of tying down the jet-ski.  Either you have a lot of clout with Shipyard employees, or they are all just naturally inclined to impress.  Either way, it was a great group of people, including yourself, to work with. Thanks again for the exceptional front end and tail end service!
